Hey, I'm Jerome!


I started playing sports when I was 3 and was always a very sporty kid and loved being involved in any type of sport. As I reached my teen years I dropped off for a few years and then around 15-16 came back to it with more focus and intention.


I began noticing a lot of physical limitations and knew something wasn't right. There was something missing that was not addressed. I was going off common protocols of weight training, nutrition, and then just playing sport, but never got into the mechanics that would lay the foundation of my movement ability.


I discovered guys like David Grey, Connor Harris, and Bill Hartman and my understanding of the way that I moved changed. I started taking courses and programs to learn more about human biomechanics. Through applying what I was learning I found that my body wasn't able to tolerate the loads from these “simple” after being involved in high level training for years before-hand.


After 2 years of implementing this enhanced understanding of human movement my recovery is much greater than it was before, I recover at a much faster rate. I don't require too much warm-up anymore. My movements in sport are a lot more fluid and effortless. I don't have any problems when sitting at a desk for long periods of time and my body is now working in a manner that I never thought possible.


I believe that a movement skills foundation is a low-hanging fruit and stands as a key component for any athletes success, ensuring that you move towards “thoughtless, fearless movement” and focussing on the real task of the sport at hand. Not to mention the potential for pain to factor into such things.


My goal through this endeavour is to help both athletes and other individuals uncover their potential through the same understandings that I have gained through my athletic and coaching career.
